REDBUD MUSIC MINISTRY

In Psalm 95:6-7 we read “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. for He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.”

Praise and worship is what we seek to do in each of our services at Redbud Baptist Church. The whole congegation coming together to honor and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ through various styles and mediums of music is our purpose.
We invite everyone who has a heart to serve, to join one of our music ministries.
 
REDBUD CHURCH CHOIR
The Church Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening at 7:40 p.m. in the Choir Room. This choir is open to high school juniors through senior adults. The Church Choir leads worship each Sunday morning at 10:45 and presents seasonal emphases during Easter and Christmas.
 
REDBUD HANDBELL CHOIR
The Handbell Choir rehearses each Sunday afternoon at 4:00 in the Sanctuary.This choir is open to high school juniors through senior adults. The Handbell Choir presents special music once or twice a month.
 
YOUTH SINGERS
From time to time our youth lead our worship services and present special music. They are led by Clayton Roberts and our youth director Nolan Frederick.
 
CHILDREN SINGERS
Each Sunday morning our children of all ages sing and learn songs as a part of Sunday School. They share these songs in our Sunday morning worship services.
 
SOLOS, TRIOS, QUARTETS
We are so blessed at Redbud to have many who sing well and who are willing to use their talents in our worship services.   These singers are part of our Church Choir, and enhance our worship experiences.
 
OUR INSTRUMENTALISTS
Just as God has blessed Redbud with many wonderful singers, He has also blessed us with wonderful musicians. Our instrumental worship team members are Laverne Griggs at the piano, Jan Sisson at the organ, Sondra Gardiner and Pam Wagner at the keyboard. We also have several other instrumentalists in our congregation who substitute when needed.
